Our apartments have two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, separate dining area and living room with balcony. Each Deluxe apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen with a balcony. All units are air-conditioned. The Moonshine Residence is a place where you can come in, feel relaxed, and take a deep breath at the end of the day.
The Moonshine Residence also has many amenities including outdoor pool, on-site restaurant, fitness center, game room, laundry and concierge services, meditation center/quiet room. Our friendly staff and professional security personnel will do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay.

We are a New York-based husband and wife who want to give back to the Nnewi community where Tochukwu hails from. When we were building our own home in Nnewi, we found it difficult to bring the entire family to Nnewi because we could not find accommodations that could provide us with all the comforts of a private home. So, we decided to create one and the idea of the Moonshine Residence was born! Named after The Moonshine, a hotel owned by Tochukwu’s father in Onitsha when he was growing up, we are inspired by his father’s example, and we hope to continue his good work of investing in the people of Anambra state.
As Tochukwu is a native of Nnewi (Uru, Umudim), it was important for us to also give back to our community. The Moonshine Residence offers not only comfortable accommodations with luxurious amenities, but it also provides employment to the local community and support to local businesses. We are proud that our staff are all local and 95% of the building materials used to construct and furnish the Moonshine Residence were made in Nigeria.
By providing this short-term residential facility, we hope to attract more tourism to Nnewi, which in turn will support more growth and opportunities for young people and business entrepreneurs in this bustling commercial city. Nnewi offers much in terms of industry, culture, and fun. The Moonshine Residence offers the privacy and security of a private residence with all the comforts to make your stay feel like home.
